Sara bought and developed an existing small contemporary craft shop, growing it exponentially in scope, profile and profitability, evolving it into the well established, respected and renowned Petroff Gallery in Toronto. With twenty years of extensive gallery management, Sara’s expertise encompasses all aspects of gallery and business operations, including exhibition development, curation, art selection, artist mentorship, media communications, connectivity in the arts, strategic merchandising and retail profitability. After successfully selling the business, Sara Levine Petroff continues to be a driving force as an advocate for contemporary art in all media. Sara now combines both her curatorial and interior design backgrounds, extensive connections in the art world and well-honed aesthetic eye, working privately with corporate & residential clients as an art consultant. She has been involved on the Board of Directors for Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition; Advisory Committee Board for McMichael Gallery Emerging Artist Mentorship Program; Steering Committee Member for College Standards and Accreditation Council and Art Selection Committee for the Ronald McDonald House.
