Oleg Stukalov, PhD

Oleg Stukalov is a science-based entrepreneur, educator, academic administrator, and scientist. As an entrepreneur, he has co-founded three technology startups. Oleg’s most recent venture, Mirexus Biotechnologies Inc., has spun off from his own research at the intersection of microbiology, biotechnology, and biophysics. He teaches graduate-level entrepreneurship courses to computer science students at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada. Oleg’s most recent experience includes academic technology transfer, IP portfolio management, and facilitation of industry-academia partnerships. As an academic researcher with Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics, Oleg co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed multidisciplinary publications in the areas of organic electronics, biophysics, and microbiology. He currently works at the University of Waterloo.
