André Serero

André Serero is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience in business and law. André is an Executive in Residence with York University’s Schulich Executive Education Centre where he provides executive coaching in applied leadership development programs. He also provides executive seminars, with a particular emphasis in the areas on global business strategy, global trends in mergers & acquisitions, post-merger integration and financing. André is also a Partner with Rosenzweig & Company, a high-end international talent management firm that focuses on critical, specialized executive searches. In addition, he is an Adjunct Professor at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM). He is also an Executive in Residence at TRSM, where he directs the Top 200 Program. He is on the Board of Directors of the Youthdale Foundation and is a past board member of numerous domestic and international boards of directors.

Prior to joining Ryerson, André was Executive Vice President at Bell Media Inc., where he was responsible for Bell Media’s local conventional television stations; engineering, operations and IT group; human resources; business and legal affairs; corporate services and corporate security. Before that, André was Executive Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of CTVglobemedia Inc., responsible for all business and legal affairs pertaining to CTVglobemedia and its subsidiaries, all deal-making and M&A activities, as well as the provision of strategic counsel to the CEO and senior executive team.

Prior to joining CTV, André was Vice President, Law & Corporate Secretary of Bell Canada International Inc., where he was a lead negotiator in the establishment and operation of international joint ventures, principally in Asia and Latin America, for BCE’s international expansion vehicle.

André was awarded the Canadian General Counsel Award in the Deal Making Category and was voted Corporate Counsel Newsmaker of the Year, by Canadian Lawyer In House Magazine.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B., 1987) and Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L., 1987) from McGill University. André is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
