A mentor values community and wants to make a contribution by volunteering to help a budding entrepreneur in personal and business development. Finally, a mentor is interested in the exposure to cutting edge business projects, trends, and potential, lucrative investment opportunities.

A business funder is a risk-taker who understands that small and start-up business is crucial to economic development in Canada. A business investor is an individual, bank, or company looking for the next high impact venture that can really make a difference.
